The weekend of 26th and 27th saw the start of the 2012 working season. Sixteen people put in 68 hours work during a lovely weekend. Darite Village Group came down to help and we were joined by several new faces, some of whom were newcomers to the area and some who have been here for some time and have now decided to give a hand.
The work was spread over 4 sessions but people came and went to suit their own timetables and those who only intended to stay for an hour put in at least two.
We followed each working day with a barbeque in my garden which gave us all a chance to get to know each other and socialise.
Personally I am tired and aching today but very happy that we have got off to a good start
